I have a wonderful sister....

Who would have ever thought that God made Bloodlust Nosfratus?
They were human once and this one on my mind, is a happy one--
Anne Rice doesn't know everything about them...and believe it or not, I got to know one in particular and I call her my sister. She is the mirror reflection of who I am inside--
and I am still discovering that one. She is full of surprises and I love every bit
of her company because of everything she has taught me. She taught me EVERYTHING.
Even how to watch stupid people shoot themselves in the foot--and laugh.

Most of all, she has taught me to laugh. Laugh at all those who try so damn hard
to take me down. Because the more they try, to more ridiculous they look--
and get this: The whole world is watching...And that is all that matters--

Thanks, my sister...

Bushido, The Ways Of The Warrior

The most wonderful gift in the world---
Is knowing that you slowly but surely have mastered yourself.
The Master knows he is nothing, and with that thought, strives to become
something. The drive to find that inner peace and to know where to go
next in your life. That is what matters. No matter how others try to take
you down, they cannot touch you because you are in control of yourself,
your environment and your destiny. I walked away from the computer for
a long time in 2009 and I found myself going back to school to work on my
Masters in English--Only to find now, that the music makes even more sense
to me than ever before and I have earned the respect of my professors, as well
as other professionals. They found my ideas of music and literature coming together
actually working and they want to see more. My goal at this time is to design a class
for my University called Music and Literature. I still perform music, as well as
being a web-radio DJ, which I don't mind--and with that, I have won great respect
of my peers and my fanbase. Though it may seem small, poetry is a big deal in
peoples' lives and to host a program or two that has poetry in it for people to read
their work is fine with me. My classmates know of The Gypsy Poet, and to them in
a way, it almost feels like they are talking to a celebrity. We joke about it.
But I say, 'it's no big deal.' I am just like everyone else. But with a name
that stands out...

It's the greatest feeling in the world knowing your dreams are just around the
corner and no one can take away what you have accomplished. My ideas are accepted
in designing a class for music and literature among my professors and to be a part of
that is an awesome feeling. To top it, GPR got canceled this week due to a weather
problem, but it will be back after the Holidays which will feature Nickelodeon's Kristina
Reyes from The Naked Brothers Band. Beware, world--The Gypsy Poet is brilliant, feisty,
intelligent, sexy, independent AND she truly---ROCKS.
