A Zen Buddhist proverb states:
If the Universe does not exist, I do not, either.
And if I don't exist, neither does the Universe.
The whole point of this proverb is to think about
where you direct your thoughts.
The power of the mind is a very powerful thing.
And the Universe pays attention to those thoughts.
Where you direct your mind, is where it will take you.
The more you think of something, the more you receive
of what you think of.
The Point: As you think about what bothers you,
do something to change it, so it never does so.
To make your dreams happen, put your thoughts
into them...

It's my 3rd time reading it/doing it, but I think it helps focus your energy on positive outcomes.
I'm a positive person, in general, but I have a very sassy sense of humor, I guess you could say, lol.
