Newbies on the way...

These days, I happen to be preoccupied

with my music and my poetry so, I don't always have time

to be here to flaunt my life... it's not like I don't have one. 

In case you haven't noticed, I actually host a radio program 

and I got a kick-ass co-host named Girl George on board.

She knows quite a number of people, but like hell, I'd drop

names on the blog! You can find the shows on 

Gypsy Poet Radio. 'Nuff said!... 

These days, I am working on re-birth, re-releasing and the like.

I have taken down my first volume of poetry for the time being

and am creating a re-release campaign to its new home, Createspace.

I moved my 2nd book there because I found the website more

feasible to work with and I loved it so much, my first book is going

there, too, as well as other projects... hence, also it is owned my

amazon.... LOL! 

Anyway, I have made something happen, and continue to... 

I got more surprises coming! :) 

The fun never ends at GPR! :) 

In Memoriam....

Today, for me, is a day like no other.
The death of over 20 children in Sandy Brook Elementary
School in New Town, CT really hit close to home with me.
Aside from being a radio DJ, I am also a piano instructor,
as well as a poet. What hit me so hard was today, young
children were killed. This inside, bothers me because I teach
young children from the ages of 4 to 14 and the very thought
of them having to face death in any way, saddens me. Thanatos
is not an entity or being children should have to face. We all
know that existence is fleeting and Thanatos is a sad reality
that we all must face, but it should not be in the face of children...
and so rapidly, either...

On This Day....

The Gypsy Poet is going into a month-long celebration of her birthday,
for she is born on the day that the bombs fell on Pearl Harbor on
December 7... the Bombs fell in 1941, but The Gypsy Poet was
born in 1977. Yes, friends, I am 35 years old, Rockin' and still
shakin'. I have a chip on my shoulder, a mouth of wit, mojo
on the burner with a bit of a grit and an ax to grind....

In this season, I am now a syndicated Web-Radio DJ
on RokoutRadio.com. and now, I am escalating to
a massive, media thunderstorm!! A song was written
about me, for me, by a wonderful friend, Drew Seeley....
(Drew Seeley's Newest Single, has my name on it! :) )
put out this single and it makes me happy knowing that
my work and my name is reaching people by storm!
I am beyond words at the joy that I am experiencing
on this, being the week of my birthday!!

Thank you so much to Donny Morrow,
his wonderful wife, Selene and their team to make
this single happen!! This is my song, that I will carry
with me always!!! WOW!!!! :)

Life Gets Interesting...

I do not know exactly what is going on in this world that I have stumbled upon,
but I sure as hell like where this is going.
Gypsy Poet Radio looks like it is going somewhere
and I am enjoying the ride...
I got many more guests coming to make this ride happen.
What I like is going on, I am not only getting more listeners,
but more folks interested in The Gypsy Poet. For those of you reading,
I hope that you enjoy a copy of my newest work. I posted it on the side
panel here, but in case you don't see it, I will post it here, as well.

Believe me, I got a mouth and I am not afraid to use it...

I have to thank Lucia Peregrim for her help in syndicating GPR
in her radio station on ROK OUT RADIO
 and giving some of us Indie folks a chance
to shine in a business that does not let you in easily. I noticed
that the moment I opened my mouth, the rest of them started
coming to me... no matter the acts... I have devoted my life
to GPR, my music and my poetry... I also want to thank
Marisa Herandez and Donny Morrow,  as well as
Christopher Hemingway for helping me put my book together.
They are truly amazing people and wonderful mentors.
The best can't get better than that... Let's see where 2013
takes us!

New Places, New Faces, New Spaces...

So, I finally am up and running in the Indie world once again...
I am back on the air, and I am selling my newest title in its new home,
 it is called Mysterium. In case you don't know yet, I am now
syndicated at a radio station in Scranton, Pennsylvania,
called ROK OUT RADIO, which is a station devoted to the
local and international music scene in the North East and it is
 a metal station... not that I mind it...
I am more of a mouth than what I used to be,
and the features I am doing are a little heavier than
ever before. This, I have to add, I do enjoy because
I don't take any guff from anybody to begin with.
My radio program, Gypsy Poet Radio is about my
own self discovery and assimilating in this massive world.

I must admit that I have learned a lot in these last couple of years
of self-publishing, self promoting and self-everything to get myself out
there and going. In this month alone, I realized that with my mouth and
profound insights, I could easily get publicity for the acts that come on
my radio program... and all they have to do is call in...

Gypsy Poet Radio, Roses On the Piano Publishing, are just two things
that make my world spin... I got the world by the tail and I can't be taken
down, for death does not kill what never dies...
