ON NOOK AND I-BOOK!!!!!

About a month ago, I wrote an elaborate short story called
 "Ernie's Beginning: An Excerpt From Lady Angela's Place"
 and now, it has been placed in the Nook store powered by
Barnes & Noble as well as The I-Book Store  powered by
Apple. I am seeing my work is thriving! I am writing this to
confirm that it will take about about another 24-48 hours
to make it live, but I did get confirmation that the short
story is now listed in both markets. I got more projects
to come this new year!!  May you enjoy the bits! :)

My Poems in production....

Two of my poems from my book, A Voice Over Time 
have now been featured in a first-ever public performance.
 It is a part of a production called Merry Mentality 
which is a production that features the pressures of the
Holiday Season and how people cope with different
ways of dealing with mental illness
and various pressures that society puts on the most trivial
things in life.
The event is sponsored by the LOVE ME PROJECT
which is an organization devoted to
mental health education.
The two pieces that made it into the production are
"In The Cold, Dark Room"
and  "Losing Myself" --
2012 is going to be an amazing year.
My work is manifesting even more...

MYSTERIUM... Life's Mysteries... And much more...

The next book that I'm publishing has darker tones and themes.
It's about life's Mysteries,the "mysterious act of experimentation"
with words, and it's also a book about testing the limits of how
words are used. This book has rich tones, as well as dark themes
that evolve around taking a ride on a Harley, comparing a wonderful
man to a really good bottle of wine, and taking on the themes of
 drug addiction and coming to understand what spirituality is.

This next book is a little darker and has richer tones in some places,
however I still remain true to the spirit of "The Gypsy Poet"
 an outcasted woman who looks through the window
from the outside looking in. I am not a sheep.
This book defines this particular point.

The release is going to be out soon...

THE WAR IS OVER...

This is the newbie that I created about a month ago... I did this on 9/11.
This is from my book, A Voice Over Time.
This is called "Soldier" ---
This is based on my thinking of what
army families go through...

This is an important piece from my book...
It's also the most widely asked poem
for reading at poetry readings...
Since San Antonio, Texas is a military town, this is
one poem that gets requests because it hits
so close to home. My hope is that it touches
people all across the globe, not just here...  

NEW STUFF COMING....

You will come to find out that I am going to be
posting a lot here.  However, I will also be changing
 themes a lot, as well. The reason is,
I'm a chameleon and I can go from light colors
to dark very easily.
For me, 'tis the way poetry goes.

I will confess that I have a Gothic side that
I don't plan to hide...
The reason I say that is because
I'm not afraid to show it.

The new stuff coming in the book will be
 filled with many experiments to
your liking and enjoyment....

I'm coming out with a new book soon.
The new book will be featured in
retailers just as soon as I am finished with the editing
and formatting.

This new book is called Mysterium
and it's about the 'mysterious act
of experimentation'-- what I mean by that is,
each of these works are all about experiments with words,
and they all evolve around something
that happened around a miracle, or something
that awakens in the midst
of appreciation of life.
This book is really important and it will show great
progress as a writer. My next task after this book
hits retailers, that I will guest speak at the
San Antonio Texas Poets Association....

THE DEVIL'S BACKBONE...

Later in 2012, I am coming out with two new
 poetry books that will appear on lulu.com
and other retailers.  The one working title
 I have is called The Devil's Backbone 
which is a rough compilation of my poetry
that talked about the time of having the
spinal ailment, scoliosis.
Some of the proceeds of this book will go to
The National Scoliosis Foundation.
The point of this is to raise awareness of this
ailment and to help others understand what those
with it go through and help families of those
who have scoliosis to endure it considering
there is no cure for it.
My hope is to help others know that they
are not alone.
